In 1962, the United States government enlists the help of Mutants with superhuman abilities to stop a malicious dictator who is determined to start world war III.

What the critics said: With a strong script, stylish direction, and powerful performances from its well-rounded cast, X-Men: First Class is a welcome return to form for the franchise.

What I said: The Critics and I disagree.

The people that liked this movie really liked this movie, there are however far fewer people that like this movie than almost any Marvel based property, only Captain America: The First Avenger has fewer ratings, reviews, social media hits than X-Men: First Class.
X-Men: First Class is financially one of the worst performers of all the Marvel Films, ranking 9/34 in terms of money made, it also has some of the lowest sales totals of DVD/Blu-Ray (not used in Rankings) and as one DVD reviewer suggested little if any rewatch value.
