What the critics said: A good cast fails to elevate this overly violent and by-the-numbers revenge flick.
What I said: A good cast fails to elevate this overly violent and by-the-numbers revenge flick.
In 1984 this would have been a decent movie, however it was released in 2004 and the by the numbers action films were not in vogue and neither was the high level of violence. The fact it was directly competing with Kill Bill was another strike against this movie.
