What the critics said: It may not be the finest film to come from the Marvel Universe, but Thor: The Dark World still offers plenty of the humor and high-stakes action that fans have come to expect.
What I said: A decent film that could have been a lot better.
Over the past year the overall professional critics dropped their average rating of both Thor and Thor: The Dark World by several points. I was going to dig into this more, but haven't so I apologize for not being able to do so. All of the other metrics put this movie constantly at number 11 in the rankings.
