Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - A Review

If you are going to go see the latest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles regardless of what anyone says you can stop reading now, and stop reading all reviews and go waste your money.

Here's the deal, this is a by the numbers movie, that neither sucks nor rocks but it's a complete waste of money to go see.   In three months you can pick it up on BluRay and watch it in the comfort of you living room for what it costs for one person to go see it with popcorn and skimping on the coke.

What truly works, well the elevator scene is entertaining, probably why the studio released it in multiple promos.  And and well I'd struggled to come up with anything else.

What doesn't work, well the Turtles sense of Geography for starters.   Where else would the sewers of New York end up in a snow covered mountain and the unique landmarks of New York fail to make an appearance.
The other major things that fails is the constant jokes about how to ridiculous the whole concept of a lab experiment gone wrong is supposed to be.

The rest of the movies issues or workings  just fails to click.
I guess it's supposed to be funny that every one hits on April O'Neal (Megan Fox) I think at one point she hits on herself, it's just not funny.
Will Arnett improvising on screen for twenty minutes has more potential for laughs than anything that was scripted for him.   The rest of the cast just doesn't click.
The script is beyond outlandish but beyond the fact it's not funny.
Jonathan Liebesman is hamstrung by CGI limiting he's ability to use steady  cam in similar fashion to Battlefield LA.  The CGI is not bad but no where near the caliber of Lord of Rings or The Avengers and it pulls the movie down.

In the end it's not worth seeing in the theater.
