Marvel Announced that Peyton Reed will direct Ant-Man. Peyton Reed director of Bring it On, Down with Love, and The Break-Up.
Also announced the Adam McKay (who was offered the position of Director two weeks ago) will be brought on as a script consultant to help with the film.

When Marvel's "Ant-Man" hits theaters July 17, 2015, director Peyton Reed will help shepherd the hero into the Marvel Cinematic Universe with a cast led by Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas, with writer Adam McKay contributing to the film's script.
Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, con-man Scott Lang (Rudd) must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym (Douglas), protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.
There is a rumor circulating that an announcement of a new director for Ant-Man may be imminent.
Sources are suggesting that Nicholas Stoller is in negotiations to helm the planned film. Stoller a English-American screen writer director is the director of Neighbors and writer for Muppets: Most Wanted.
Multiple sources have indicated that Director Josh Trank, director of Chronicle and the forthcoming Fantastic Four reboot has signed on to direct a film about the early life of Han Solo in the Star Wars Cinematic Universe.
Josh joins JJ Abrams who is directing Star Wars VII (The Ancient Evil is a working title) and Garth Edwards who is supposedly working on a Boba Fett movie.

Warner Bros. has delayed the Andy and Lana Wachowski movie “Jupiter Ascending” from July 18 to Feb. 6, 2015.
Channing Tatum, Mila Kunis, Eddie Redmayne, Douglas Booth and Sean Bean are starring. The Wachowskis produced and directed from their own script.
Story, set at a time when humans are at the bottom of the evolutionary ladder, follows a woman targeted for assassination by the queen of the universe.

A Tweet from Adam McKay indicates he was offered the position of Director for Ant-Man, but with his schedule as both Director and Producer to a number of other films.
And yes, met w/Marvel. Kirby & Lee r my Lennon Mccartney so it was awesome. But have other projects I'm committed to. Not sure it can work.
