The Amazing Spider-Man - Box Office Estimates

You know I have pretty good track record with predicting Box Office, however I totally flubbed opening weekend for The Amazing Spider-Man 2, on first blush I am not sure exactly what I messed up but I was not in the right ballpark.   

I think I over stated Audience Fatigue for the opening weekend and I clearly whiffed at creating a comparable for the original Amazing Spider-Man.  

If I look at my model and adjust accordingly..

Comparable - 119.5
Competition -11
Traditional Super Hero Weekend +7.5
Early Hype +12
Late Hype -18

Creates a total of 110
Reality 92
Audience Fatigue = 17%

Well live and learn.
