Idris Elba as Heimdall
Avengers: Age of Ultron
Idris Elba, who starred as Heimdall in both Thor and Thor: The Dark World has revealed that both he and Tom Hiddleston [Loki] will be reprising their roles in Avengers: Age of Ultron for a few scenes at least.

In an interview with the Guardian newspaper Idris Elba is quoted as saying "I’m doing a scene with Chris Hemsworth [who plays Thor] and Tom Hiddleston [Loki], and they’re like, [whispers] – ‘Aren’t you [meant to be] in Ibiza?'" (1)

It is also rumored that Sir. Antony Hopkins [Odin] and Jamie Alexander [Lady Sif] will also be reprising their roles in a small way for the movie.

The UK's Digital Spy website, on a now removed page, exclaimed that Tom Hiddleston has been confirmed for both Avengers: Infinity War parts 1 and 2 and will be "heavily" involved according to Kevin Feige.

Iron Man
Speaking at a BAFTA event this weekend Robert Downey Jr responded to question about appearing as Tony Stark/Iron Man on film "You know, it may verge on double digits. But it will probably wind up being a little shy."  

Speaking of Robert Downey Jr starring as Tony Stark/Iron Man multiple sites are stating unnamed sources the RDJ is in negotiations with Marvel to bring Iron Man 4 to the Screen as part of Phase 3 (a 10th Movie in Phase 3).  The Film would be fourth film in 2017 setting up Avengers: Infinity War.  

Deadpool
Rob Liefeld, creator of the Deadpool character in the X-Men comic book universe was interviewed over the weekend at Comikaze 14, Comic Book Expo in LA.

"Ryan is Deadpool. Look, Ryan Reynolds, he’s gone through that same career arc, the guy is ridiculously talented. He has a huge, huge passion for Deadpool. Deadpool’s not happening, because he was a giant star, they said, ‘Ryan, what do you want to do?’ And he said, ‘Deadpool.’ That’s why it happened. They would have no faith otherwise. That movie is because of his passion. He put together the team." (3)


Cable
If talking about Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool wasn't enough Liefeld also went on to mention Cable "Cable is awesome,” said Liefeld. “And he will…when he appears on screen, we’re all going to nerdgasm, because he’s coming. They can’t hold him back. He’s coming.” (4)  Too be clear Liefeld did not specify the Cable will be in the Deadpool film rather he expects the character to join the X-Men Universe.  Stephen Lang has long been rumored or associated with the part.
