What the critics said: Fantastic Four is a goofy, mediocre entry in the superhero genre
What I said: For what 20th Century Fox was attempting to accomplish not bad, but could have been a lot better.
20th Century Fox had a plan for its three Marvel IP that it controlled, Daredevil and Elektra were supposed to be a darker more hardcore grim Movie Franchise, X-Men your typical PG-13 fanboi films and The Fantastic Four were supposed to be your lighter more family friendly films. Just because they had a plan doesn't mean they accomplished it. The movie was too goofy, to much potty humor and the ad placements over the top.
