The Hollywood Reporter is confirming that Channing Tatum is signed on to play the Louisiana's Remy Etienne LeBeau, aka Gambit, in the next X-Men move, X-Men: Age of Apocalypse, followed by a standalone film.
The name for the stand alone film has not been released and beyond Channing Tatum I am unaware of any other cast or crew being named.
